Nancy serves as co-anchor on "Access Hollywood." She has won numerous awards for her journalism work before her "Access Hollywood" days, including an Emmy, three Associated Press awards, two Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and a SPJ Best Report of the Year award. She also is the national spokesperson for the March of Dimes' Blue Jeans for Babies campaign, which raises awareness of birth defects. She has made numerous cameos in such shows as "Beverly Hills 90210," "The Simpsons," "Just Shoot Me," "Melrose Place," "Charmed," and "V.I.P." For each cameo, Centrum Vitamins makes a donation to the Blue Jeans for Babies campaign, and she donates her acting fee. In addition, she has held minor roles in "Scream 2" and "3", and "The Bachelor" among others.
